Kamra is a revolutionary. They/m have been inspiring me for over a decade. They created Activation Residency, which is an artist residency, owned & operated by a black trans person, in service of working class artists. It's been in operation since 2018. It was born out of a need for survival, and a need to feel a sense of belonging.
